A landmark building in the heart of St Pauls

Ujima House in the 1940s
Remove the old cars from this photo and you'll see the building hasn't changed much.  With part of it built over 150 years ago, 97-107 Wilder Street, now known as Ujima House, has been known under many guises.

Most recently it was home to the CEED charity, which sadly closed a few years ago when funding dried up. Established in the 1980s following the Bristol riots, CEED was set up to support the community by offering vital funding, training opportunities and learning resources to those lacking support.

After the charity closed the building was at risk of being lost, but local members of the community have managed to save it. Secure for another century, Ujima House will continue to support the local community through enterprise, events, learning and creativity.
